It's Another War

by
E. M. McMahon, Jr.

It's live on T.V.
It's what your mother warned you about
It's burned babies
It's the big lie
It's your chance for glory
Not enough chances for peace
Not with my son you don't
Not another drop of blood for oil
Not seen nothin' yet
Not an inch of tolerance for protest
Over our heads the rockets sing
Over hill over dale we will hit the dusty trail
Over my dead body
Overlord/Obersturmbannführer
Over in the Gulf the war proceeds
Yet a little while and I will be with you
Yet we're all in this together
Yet we pray for peace and prepare for war
Yet a little while and I will not be with you
Yet it's not over
It's not over yet
It's not yet
Not yet over
Not over
Over yet
Not yet
Over
Yet
It's
Not.
